Straight from the multi award winning game Mutazione, this short reel features the “handheld”, minimal and playful approach we took on sound design since music alone was a huge part of the game mechanics, taking a great deal of aural space with its OST being an insane 4,5+ hours long catalogue of both linear and procedural pieces.

Millo is a senior-level game audio team.

We are Alessandro Coronas and Nicola Pedroni, the two people behind the audio of award-winning games like Mutazione, Tales of the Shire, Where is my Heart?, Star Stuff, and many others.

After 16 years in the trenches working solo, we realized bumps on the road were always pretty much the same from game to game, until one day we told each other:

“Why don’t we build a small, compact studio that makes things easier for small and mid-sized teams?”

This is how Millo was born: two freelancers who can work, when needed, as a single compact team, making all the benefits and efficiency of a full in-house audio department accessible and sustainable for independent, lean-structured teams.

Millo was created to provide a complete audio solution that brings senior experience into an agile, compact format tailored for smaller teams.

Our goal is to keep things simple, lean and agile, while delivering the depth and scope of a senior audio team.
